MAKA Beauty Systems is getting ready for its 20th annual beauty show event. At the Hair for Fun 2011 event, top hair artists from around the world will present the latest in cuts, coloring techniques and new products to our professional hair stylist clients. This show is where your hairdresser comes to learn all the new trends!
We are currently seeking models for this event for a variety of segments. Segments include:
- Hair cut and color trends from Schwarzkopf, L’ANZA & Patrice Beauté
- Men’s Cutting and Barbering Techniques from Eufora
- Styling and Finishing with Moroccanoil
- Semi permanent straightening from Keratin Complex
- Permanent Straightening with Create Ion of Japan
- Curly hair cutting, coloring and styling
- Long Hairdressing and up styling from Kevin.Murphy & iPro

Hair for Fun 2011 Model Call
Saturday, March 26th
Call time: 9a
(cut and color prep will be held from 9a-5p)
EVIT – Cosmetology Building

Mesa, AZ 85201
Complete show information will be provided at the model call. For your reference, the show will be held on Sunday, March 27th from 10a-6p and Monday, March 28th from 10a-4p at the Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale. You will work with your artist to determine the dates and times you will be needed for the show.
Models will receive free cut, color and/or styling services from some of the best hair stylists in the world. They will also receive a product gift valued at $100 retail.
Please note:
- Due to issues with model no-shows, we are required to call more models than needed for the show
- Artist may need to decline use of the model if the hair type or condition is not appropriate for desired cut/color, or if, after meeting with the artists, the model does not approve the artists’ cut/color choice
